In the COVID-19 crises that have defined recent weeks, thousands of people have shared their “quarantine regime” on social media. They have mostly tried Instagram Live workouts, cleaned and organized their homes, and, most importantly, began to cook.
While not “new” or “daring,” this recipe can be perfect at home if pasta is available at the supermarket. During this time of the pandemic, the shelves are bare.
Ingredients
* Fettuccine Pasta Noodles
* 1 Stick of butter
* 3/4 Pints of Heavy Cream
Garlic Salt, 1 Dash
* 3/4 Cup of Grated Romano cheese
Half a cup of grated Parmesan cheese
* Salt & Pepper
STEP 1
Once your water reaches a rolling boil, sprinkle salt into the pot. Pour the pasta in and let it cook. Stir the pasta constantly to prevent it from sticking together. Drain the pasta.
STEP 2
Melt the butter in a large pan. Be sure to use low heat so that it doesn’t boil over. Salt, pepper, and garlic salt can be added to the mixture. Add both parmesan and romano cheese to thicken the sauce.
STEP 3
Add the pasta and coat it with the sauce. Sprinkle pepper on the pasta, and serve it immediately.
